South Suffolk Labour Party covers an area of Suffolk which is co-terminus with Babergh District Council and the South Suffolk Parliamentary Constituency. The area includes the small towns of Sudbury and Hadleigh plus the populous ward of Sproughton & Pinewood on the West side of Ipswich as well as the wider rural area of many villages.

The 24 wards which make up the South Suffolk Constituency are:
Assington, Box Vale, Brantham, Brett Vale, Bures & Nayland, Capel St Mary, Chadacre, Copdock & Washbrook, East Bergholt, Ganges, Gt Cornard, Hadleigh North, Hadleigh South, Lavenham, Long Melford, NW Cosford, Orwell, SE Cosford, Sproughton & Pinewood, Stour, Sudbury NE, Sudbury NW, Sudbury SE, Sudbury SW.

The South Suffolk Constituency Party is made up of its 400plus members and the officers of the CLP. It works in support of local town, parish, district and county councillors, the local parliamentary candidate or member of parliament, and on behalf of the local community. It’s main activities are campaigning on behalf of candidates for local council or parliamentary election and promoting the Labour cause among the electorate.

There is also an active Branch which serves Sudbury and Great Cornard.
