Using your vote to support the Labour Party is now more important than ever. This applies for the General Election in South Suffolk and locally for Babergh District Council, your town or parish council and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

The historical dominance of the Tory party in the region has done nothing to further the interests of the community at large.

It’s time for a change.

In order to exercise your democratic right to vote, you must first Register to Vote.

It can sometimes be difficult or inconvenient to vote in person so we strongly recommend applying for a Postal Vote. There is always a deadline to apply of about two weeks before any given election but it’s easy to miss. We recommend you don’t wait for the deadline and apply now. Click on the link for more information.

If you do go to vote in person, don’t forget that under the latest Tory rules you will need valid Photo ID.
